The main conditions and requirements of the interdisciplinary competition to be held as part of the Annual Review Conference of the Armenian academic community
The interdisciplinary competition, organized within the framework of the Annual Review Conference, aims to strengthen and develop the skills of young scientists (up to 35 years old) in presenting research-scientific projects, as well as to foster the creation and strengthening of new collaborative ties among young scientists.
The organizing committee of the conference will form relevant groups consisting of the young scientists nominated for the interdisciplinary competition by the leaders of scientific topics (with electronic notification to the participants), in which young scientists from various fields (such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc.) will be included.
Subsequently, experienced scientific advisors will be assigned to guide these groups in their work.
The formed groups must prepare an interdisciplinary scientific and practical project (maximum 5 pages) within the framework of the conference and send it by December 13 of this year to the email address annualconference@ysu.am. On December 15 of this year, the projects prepared by the groups will be presented in the form of an oral report (maximum 5 minutes).
The interdisciplinary project to be presented must be forward-looking, feasible, and innovative. The project should consist of the following sections:
Project title,
Names and surnames of project authors, institution, phone number, email address,
Relevance, novelty, and uniqueness of the project,
Goals and problems to be addressed by the implementation of the project,
Project development process and phases according to quarters (the project should cover a maximum period of 3 years),
Expected outcomes (including patents, publications, etc.),
Budget (allocate a maximum of 10 million AMD for one year, with 35% for salaries and 65% for other expenses, including equipment and materials, travel expenses, overhead, etc.).
The top three interdisciplinary projects will be selected by the expert group and awarded the following prizes:
First place: 1,500,000 AMD (1 award)
Second place: 1,000,000 AMD (1 award)
Third place: 500,000 AMD (1 award).
