Professor Artur Atanesyan, Head of the Chair of Applied Sociology at YSU, participated as a jury member in evaluating innovative research projects conducted by senior students of the Poqrik Ishkhan Educational Complex.
Under the guidance of Marina Khakhamyan, a graduate of the YSU Sociology Department and currently the director of the Poqrik Ishkhan Educational Complex, school students regularly engage in developing and implementing innovative projects with research components.
Three group projects were presented: the preservation of the ancient site of Karmir Blur (Teishebaini Fortress) and its inclusion in tourist attractions, the creation and advertising of "Nrbeni" skincare cosmetics, and the launch of the "TULI" project of the national heritage of Armenian traditional dishes.
All three projects, each incorporating research components and targeting specific practical outcomes, were implemented through the collaborative efforts of school students and their advisers. These initiatives were driven by a patriotic impulse.
Highlighting the remarkable effectiveness of the projects, A. Atanesyan invited school students to YSU to learn more about the university's diverse range of study and research opportunities.
