1. Admission criteria/requirements
The applicant for the program must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
· The admission of applicants with degrees in the given specialty is based on the results of the progress shown during the previous studies,
· the admission of applicants with degrees in other specialties is carried out based on the results of the exams.
The admission procedure follows YSU’s Master’s degree admission regulations.

2. Programme Objectives
· To provide students with an in-depth understanding of financial theories, principles, and practices, equipping them with the skills necessary to analyze and manage financial systems and instruments,
· to develop expertise in the functioning of financial systems, including the role of central banks, monetary policy, and the impact of credit on the economy, enabling graduates to contribute to financial stability and policy-making;
· to develop strong research and analytical skills, enabling students to conduct high-quality financial research, critically evaluate financial data, and apply quantitative methods to solve complex financial problems.

3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Present the global and local issues of the modern financial sector,
- Formulate modern approaches to the preparation and analysis of monetary and fiscal policy programs,
- Present the basic principles of banking,
- Discuss banking management and marketing methods in professional studies,
- Comment on the specific features of the non-banking financial sector,
- Recognize the fundamental principles of customs activity and administration.
- Classify risks and make financial decisions,
- Using various financial tools to practically carry out analysis of investment and business processes,
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's financial management,
- Apply the management and assessment methods of the financial sector of the economy,
- Evaluate selected economic policies,
- Develop and implement in practice the credit and other asset functions of the banking sector,
- Implement the main macroprudential policy programs in practice.
- Use various sources of information (Internet, electronic libraries, scientific articles, and reports),
- Distinguish, analyze, and interpret the information obtained from different economic sources to substantiate certain arguments and draw conclusions,
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing with the professional community,
- Prepare reports, present research results, and conduct scientific debates.
4. Assessment methods
The assessment includes the following components:
1. assessment of mastering the sub-sections of the course during the semester (2 mid-term exams),
2. mid-term check-ups of individual topics of the course during the semester,
3. verification and assessment of the implementation and assimilation of individual tasks provided by the program during the semester (individual work),
4. evaluation of the performance of individual and/or group research provided by the program during the semester (research that replaces any of the mid-term exams),
5. evaluation of participation in the course,
The final assessment of the entire course in the exam period implies an assessment of the level of achievement of learning outcomes defined for the course.

· ability to conduct sociological and marketing research,
· ability to lead a research group.

· ability to communicate orally with the audience,
· ability to present research results in writing,
· knowledge of at least one foreign language (at least B1 level of English).
ICT application
· basic computer skills (fluent command of MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint package),
· ability to use modern social platforms,
· skills to prepare and present presentations (pptx, prezi, canva, etc.).
Other abilities
· knowledge of professional ethics and legal norms regulating public relations,
· ability to estimate the necessary resources and implement projects effectively,
· Ability to plan and manage time resources.

· an academic degree in Social Sciences, or, in some cases, a Master's degree obtained at a foreign university in a given or related specialty, or long-term professional work experience in a given specialty,
· participation in conferences and/or workshops in the last 5 years.
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting trainings (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship),
· during the last 5 years, participation in local or international trainings and/or professional qualification improvement courses (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship),
Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 1/3 of the taught subjects,
. the average grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 3.5 (for teaching professors).

9. Additional information about the programme
The plan of the program was based on the plans of the corresponding educational programs of Harvard and California State University.
