In December of the current academic year, 4th-year students from YSU Faculty of Law visited the State Museum of Nature of Armenia as part of their "Environmental Law" course. The visit focused on the topic "Particularities of the Legal Regime of Specially Protected Natural Areas."
In the museum's four halls, students were introduced to rare species of flora and fauna, zoological, botanical, and geological specimens, and the personal collection of the philanthropist and noble Aharonyan family.

The event's organizer, lecturer of the "Environmental Law" course at YSU Faculty of, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Olympia Geghamyan, noted that the primary aim of the visit was to develop students' environmental worldview based on theoretical knowledge, to deepen their understanding of the natural and mineral wealth of our country, and to foster a sense of care and responsibility for it. Such visits provide an opportunity to make more visible numerous species of plants and animals recorded in Armenia's "Red Book".
YSU students have been visiting the State Museum of Nature of Armenia since 2018 as part of their studies.
