1. Admission criteria/requirements
· To draw up pleadings, complaints, objections, demands, notices, contracts, including standard and non-standard, mixed contracts, contracts with the participation of a foreign element, agreements, and other drafts of legal documents in the process of legal service and provision of the business sector,
2. Programme Objectives
· to provide the student with in-depth, systematic, and comprehensive knowledge of business and business environment legislation and practice, international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings,
· to teach the student to analyze and interpret the legislation of the fields of business and international arbitration, its application practice, patterns, and exceptions,
· to develop the professional abilities and skills of students to conduct research in the field of business law and international arbitration, to carry out legal consulting activities, to solve complex practical problems, and to prepare documents related to the field.

3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- To clarify the relationship between sources of international law and domestic law, key policies and practices on state-investor arbitration, including in terms of national security;
- To present and comment on companies, as well as anti-competitive legislation, aspects of the interaction of intellectual property and new technologies, bankruptcy regulations, and prospects for the development of legal practice,
- To present and clarify the issues of land use, natural resources and environment legislation, domestic and international bankruptcy legislation, and legal practice regulations,
- To describe the research methods of private law, as well as separate procedures for the protection of rights, general patterns of state-legal phenomena, methodological, philosophical, fundamentals of jurisprudence, and sociological approaches to state-legal phenomena.
- To draw up pleadings, complaints, objections, demands, notices, contracts, including standard and non-standard, mixed contracts, contracts with the participation of a foreign element, agreements, and other drafts of legal documents in the process of legal service and provision of the business sector,
- To prepare company charters and other constituent documents, shareholders' agreements, draft decisions, and minutes of the company's board of directors/shareholders' meeting, carry out company registration
- To apply research methods in civil, civil litigation, environmental protection, natural use, anti-competitive, international private law,
- To provide legal support for the lending process: study of credit cases and provision of legal conclusions, making necessary changes in contracts, legal advice on banking operations,
- support ministries and relevant departments in the development and implementation of state policy and strategy in the business sector (including companies, international trade law, banking law, tax law, insurance law, bankruptcy, intellectual property, anti-competitive, environmental, subsoil use, energy law),

- To present reports, and research results to the professional and non-professional community in a comprehensive and argumentative manner, to explain, as well as to receive information and ideas related to the field of jurisprudence, to logically justify one's views, including during scientific debates
- To observe the rules of professional ethics
4. Assessment methods
● Courses without final assessment.
Within the framework of each course, the mandatory components for student evaluation are two mid-term exams, 7-9 points, which can be conducted in written or oral form. At least two of the other components are chosen by the teaching professor, they are mid-term exam: 0-8 points, individual work: 0-8 points, and participation: 0-3 points.
● Courses with a final assessment.
Within the framework of each course, the mandatory components for student evaluation are two mid-term exams: 6-8 points and a final exam: 7-9 points. At least one of the other components is chosen by the teaching professor, they are the mid-term check-up: 0 -6 points, individual work: 0-6 points, and participation: 0-3 points.

The mandatory component for student evaluation within each course is the final exam, 7-9 points. At least two of the other components are chosen by the teaching professor, they are the mid-term check-up: 0-8 points, individual work: 0-8 points, and participation: 0-3 points.

For the final certification students submit Master’s theses.

Graduates of the program can practice law, and work in courts, state administration bodies, private companies, consulting companies, international structures and organizations, scientific research centers, and non-governmental organizations.

· ability to interpret the provisions of the theory of tax, investment, insurance, environmental law,
· ability to identify the content and essence of international documents related to the field,
· ability to interpret the case law of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, the Court of Cassation, and the European Court,
· ability to identify gaps, weaknesses, and strengths in legislation and practice.
3. General requirements

· a scientific degree and/or rank in law, or, in some cases, a Master's degree in a given specialty at a foreign university,
· availability of at least 3 scientific and/or methodological publications in the last 5 years,
· at least 3 participations in conferences and/or workshops in the last 5 years.
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting trainings,
· participation in local or international trainings and/or professional qualification improvement courses during the last 5 years,
Practical experience
· at least 5 years of work experience in the law enforcement, legal, or judicial system: investigator, prosecutor, lawyer, judge, legal advisor.
Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 50% of taught subjects,
