From June 18 to July 2, 2024, about 60 first-year students from the "Biology" and "Biochemistry and Biotechnology" educational programs, as well as second-year students from the "Biology" educational program, are undergoing field practice at the university’s educational base in Tsaghkadzor.
On June 27, Elina Asriyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at YSU, and Karen Ghazaryan, Dean of the YSU Biology Faculty, visited the students. They observed the students’ daily activities and the learning process organized as part of their field practice.
During their meeting with the students, they expressed their openness to feedback, not only about the practice itself but also regarding the overall efficiency and quality of university life. This led to an open dialogue about the students' professional and personal development, the organization of field activities, and questions related to the students' practical preparation.
The students emphasized that practical experience is essential for solidifying theoretical knowledge and creating a strong foundation for future professional success. They highly valued the opportunity to participate in such field practices.
