Higher education in Armenia has been in the process of transformation since 2005, highlighting the student-centered approach and the resulting need to change the teaching and learning methodology, which, in turn, emphasizes the need to explore the academic engagement and wellbeing of the student as a key beneficiary of the educational process. The goal of the project is to explore the environmental and personal factors of students academic engagement and well-being to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness. The methods of investigation: the study of documents, focus groups, in-depth interviews, testing, mathematical statistical, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The sample of the study will be compiled by students of various universities of the Republic of Armenia, internal documents, reports on the organization of the educational process. It is expected that as a result of the study, a set of external and internal factors will be identified determining academic engagement and well-being, the development (personal factors) and reform (environmental factors) can contribute to improving the effectiveness of student learning, ensuring their well-being and success․
