Yerevan State University is next to our compatriots from Artsakh
From the very first days of the situation in our country, YSU students and employees have expressed their willingness to be involved in all the processes implemented to provide support to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
By initiating and cooperating with other universities and state departments, YSU ensured the involvement of hundreds of volunteers in the work of the registration centers. Our students were involved in the activities of Vaik, then Parakar and Davtashen registration centers passed the necessary training, and participated in the works conducted by the relevant structures of Yerevan and marzes (regions).
In addition, YSU has formed a housing bank, through which university students provide relevant government structures with information about all the housing that can be allocated to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
YSU Center for Continuing Education and the Charles Aznavour Cultural Center are actively working on conducting training courses and organizing their entertainment for our compatriots hosted in Byurakan and Tsaghkadzor training bases.
In parallel, the YSU Alumni and Career Center together with its partners is forming a vacancy bank, through which our compatriots of Artsakh will be able to find jobs.
YSU's Marketing department coordinates the recruitment process, placement of volunteers, organization of volunteer work, and other issues.
Yerevan State University continues to hold discussions with partners and government agencies to initiate new support programs.
