Memorandum signed between YSU and AWE Consulting, representative of Kotler Impact in CIS countries
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Dean of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management Karlen Khachatryan, and Regional Director of AWE Consulting LLC, the exclusive representative of Kotler Impact in CIS countries Mary Grigoryan, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The purpose of the memorandum is to establish bilateral partnership ties and implement a range of programs through joint efforts. As a result of the cooperation the book "The Essentials of Modern Marketing: Armenia Edition" will be published.
Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management Karlen Khachatryan, attaching importance to this cooperation, highlighted its role in creating opportunities for students to participate in various marketing events.
"It is planned to develop a textbook about the journey and history of Armenian marketing companies, with active involvement from faculty members in its creation process. Afterwards, university lessons will be conducted with this textbook, as until now, only large international companies’ examples have been introduced to students in various marketing-related courses. The textbook stands out precisely since it offers our students a unique opportunity to learn the success stories and approaches of Armenian companies," said Karlen Khachatryan.
Mary Grigoryan, Regional Director of AWE Consulting LLC and the exclusive representative of Kotler Impact in CIS countries, emphasized that the success stories to be published in the textbook will be curated by YSU faculty members and will have academic content.
"The book will be published in two languages. Initially, the English version will be printed in about 10,000 copies for global distribution. Then it will be translated into Armenian, after which we hope to include the book in the educational programs of all Armenian universities," said Mary Grigoryan.
As a result of cooperation, YSU students will also receive tickets to participate in the World Marketing Congress.
