Strengthening cooperation between YSU and University of Malta
As part of the Erasmus+ Program, Justin Chircop, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy at the University of Malta, delivered an engaging lecture titled "Share-Based Payments".
The information-filled meeting was interactive and based on practical examples, the effectiveness of which was confirmed by the students present in the class, who expressed their satisfaction.
The lecture, attended by 2nd and 3rd-year students, covered share-based payment transactions, their accounting features, and relevant accounting standards.
Chircop also provided an overview of the University of Malta and the field of economics in general.
The University of Malta stands out for its commitment to high-quality education. The University is a member of the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) and the Council for International Educational Exchange (CIEE).
Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, emphasized the importance of expanding international partnerships and the value of such meetings for the faculty. Associate Professor Grigor Hayrapetyan, Head of the Chair of Economics and International Economic Relations and responsible for international relations, also participated in the meeting.
During his visit, Justin Chircop met with the teaching staff of the Financial Accounting Chair.
Potential avenues for new cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed.
