NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS: A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WAS SIGNED BETWEEN YSU AND MSU

The tripartite memorandum was signed, highlighting the need to expand university-labor market cooperation, increase the efficiency of economic competition protection regulations, and train highly qualified specialists.

According to the memorandum, educational programs will be developed jointly, and student internships, professional courses, research projects, and other events will be implemented in the Competition Protection Commission.

YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, called on students not to miss the opportunity and to take advantage of the favorable conditions, stating that practice is one of the most important components of learning, which helps to enrich the stock of knowledge and develop experimental skills.

H. Hovhannisyan expressed hope that the memorandum signed today will contribute to the development of cooperation between the two institutions and increase the possibilities of implementing joint projects.

Welcoming this initiative, the CPC Chairman Gegham Gevorgyan, noted that the purpose of the memorandum is to create a link between education and the labor market, which will enable future specialists to develop practical skills in the public administration system. According to him, the cooperation with YSU started a long time ago, and with the memorandum, it is simply put on a legal basis. Today, four students of the Faculty of Economics and Management are already working for the committee; regular meetings are organized for university students. Moreover, they have the opportunity to attend the committee meetings, be acquainted with its activities, as well as to get involved in the work of the committee as a trial and later to get the main job.
