YSU STEM SCHOOL ADMISSION LAUNCHED

To be admitted to the YSU STEM School, applicants pass one mandatory written exam in any of the subjects "Mathematics", "Physics", "Chemistry" or "Biology" (the subject is chosen by the applicant).

The exam papers for the entrance exams are drawn up according to the following principles:

• For the 10th grade, based on the program of the first semester of the public schools up to the 9th grade of the relevant subject,

• For the 11th grade, based on the program of the first semester of the public schools up to the 10th grade of the relevant subject.

The exam papers contain multiple-choice questions and extended answer assignments. The total number of points for the questions is 40, of which 15 are for multiple-choice questions and 25 are for extended answer assignments.

Questions and tasks can simultaneously test knowledge of several topics.

Questions and tasks can be accompanied by supporting material (photo, diagram, drawing, scheme, data table, graphic image, etc.). In such cases, it is necessary to carefully read the claim and the introductory part.

When answering the extended answer questions, it is necessary to show the work done, because points can be given for the method used, even if a mistake is made in the final answer.

It is necessary to indicate the answers to the questions with an optional answer in the appropriate table. For extended answer questions, use the space provided for each question to write a clear answer.
