Educational programs are constantly being improved, new systems are developed and introduced, moving in step with the demands of the rapidly developing world.
The Latest Equipment as Guarantee of Increasing Research Work Efficiency Spectrometers, part of the gas and liquid chromatography acquired by the YSU Research Institute of Biology and the YSU Microbial Biotechnologies and Biofuel Innovation Center, will enable to have more accurate research results.
YSU student wins competition organized by the RA Central Bank Fenya Amirbekyan, a 1st-year student of the "Financial Mathematics" graduate program of the Chair of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics of YSU, won the 1st place in the research competition after Isahak Isahakyan organized by the RA Central Bank and received a cash prize of 1 million AMD.
The university environment motivates us to achieve the best results- YSU Student Ruzanna Bekjanyan, a student of the YSU Institute of Pharmacy, won the first place prize in the "Best Student" republican competition in the field of medicine with an undergraduate educational program.
YSU Scientists’ Research in High-Impact Scientific Periodicals YSU researchers and scientists publish scientific articles in leading international periodicals, promoting the development of various branches of science with their research. In 2023, YSU researchers published 1494 scientific articles, 243 of which were indexed in authoritative international journals included in the "Scopus" database.

YSU continuously improves educational programs and the professional skills of staff Starting from the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, the "Media Literacy" and "Critical Thinking" courses will be introduced into the YSU educational programs, and the YSU academic and administrative staff will be trained within the framework of the "Critical Thinking" topic. On the initiative of the YSU Continuing Education Center and EU financial support, a competition for the mentioned courses and training program was announced, the winners of which have already been selected.

Opportunities to develop and achieve success in the field of science and education at YSU "Physics of Cosmic Rays" is taught at YSU by Susanna Gaginyan, lecturer of the Department of Nuclear Physics of the Institute of Physics. She considers lecturing not only a job, but also a hobby, love for physics. Having the experience of conducting research and scientific works, S. Gaginyan cooperates with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) and Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic).
