PRESENTING OF "ARTSAKH ELECTRONIC LIBRARY" WEBSITE AT YSU
Members of the "Union of Young Scientists and Specialists of Artsakh" NGO held a meeting with YSU professors and students at the "Hovhannes Adamyan" Hall of YSU Library today.
It should be noted that the Union of Young Scientists and Specialists of Artsakh NGO participated in the grant competition announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia several months ago, was recognized as the winner and was granted the right to promote "Artsakh Electronic Library" website in educational institutions of Armenia and Artsakh" program.
The purpose of the project is to inform stakeholders of the educational process through the cognitive meetings about the Artsakh Electronic Library (www.artskhlib.am), to present the media opportunities of the website, as well as to hear suggestions for improving the service and enriching the database.
The first meeting was organized at YSU, which was not randomly selected.
Chairman of the Union of Young Scientists and Specialists of Artsakh NGO Avetik Isahakyan.
“It has been nearly 5 years since the foundation of the Artsakh Young Scientists and Specialists Association, and in that period close relations have been formed between the organization and YSU, which are based on the support of YSU”: said Mr. Avetik Isahakyan.
YSU Vice-rector on International Cooperation and Public Relations Arthur Israelyan mentioned that this is a good opportunity for YSU students to get acquainted with the website of Artsakh Electronic Library.
A. Harutyunyan introduced the participants the structure, capabilities of the e-library, talked about the media opportunities of the website.
He also mentioned that the news and information on the site are presented in trilingual version (Armenian, Russian, English), the most viewed articles and the latest news are available, and the download of literature on the site is absolutely free.
The organizers have chosen the slogan "Artsakh Everywhere" for the idea of promoting the website.
