RESEARCH IN GERMANY WITH DAAD AND HUMBOLDT FELLOWSHIPS: SHARING BEST PRACTICES

The guests were welcomed by Mary Navasardyan, DAAD Armenia Representative.

"It should be noted that today we are holding this event jointly with YSU, as it is a university with great scientific potential, from which famous scientists were born," Mary Navasardyan said.

Then the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to the Republic of Armenia also greeted the guests.

"This cooperation is a good example of how to promote educational, cultural and scientific cooperation with Germany" the ambassador stated.

Asked why a foreigner should decide to pursue his scientific work in Germany, the ambassador replied that Germany is one of the leaders in the world in the growth of young scientists and in addition, in Germany there are research opportunities not only in universities but also in research infrastructures and institutes.

Then the scholarship holders presented the experience gained in the scholarship framework, the scientific programs that made them successful.
