YSU PARTICIPATED IN ST. VARDANANTS DAY
On February 20, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, YSU Cultural Center and Gevorkian Theological Seminary organized an event dedicated to St. Vardanants Day.
YSU Cultural Center and Gevorgyan Theological Seminary, according to tradition, also organized a ceremony this year.
The event started with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the anthems of the Republic of Armenia and the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary.
YSU Vice-rector Arthur Israelyan also delivered a welcoming speech. He noted that St. Vardanants Day is one of the most beloved and national days of our church.
The Vice Rector highlighted the idea of holding the event in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
He mentioned that it is already the 11th year since the efforts of Gevorgyan Theological Seminary and YSU Cultural Center an event dedicated to St. Vardanants Day has been organized.
He highlighted the students' participation in this event as it has a beneficial impact on their spiritual upbringing.
