Scientist with Armenian origin wins Nobel Prize
The Nobel Committee awarded the 2021 Nobel Prize in Medicine in the field of physiology and medicine to scientists with Armenian origin Ardem Patapoutian and David Julius.
According to the official website of the Nobel Prize, the scientists were awarded this prize for the discovery of temperature and touch receptors.
