A MEETING-DISCUSSION DEDICATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN STUDIES WAS HELD AT YSU
A lecture on "Modern languages and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language" was held at the YSU Academic Council today, led by Mikhail Osadch, Vice-Rector for Science at the Pushkin Institute of Russian Language (Moscow).
Before the lecture YSU Acting Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Rector of the Pushkin Institute of Russian Language Margarita Rusetskaya had a private talk, during which they exchanged views on Armenian-Russian cooperation, implementation of joint programs, as well as dissemination and study of the Russian language.
Hovhannes Hovhannisyan stressed that he is ready to further expand the cooperation with Russian partners, which will be facilitated by the implementation of programs aimed at exchanging lecturers and professional qualification.
After the speeches, a discussion took place between the participants of the meeting on the current issues in the field of Russian studies.
