Within the framework of cooperation between YSU Faculty of Law and Raoul Wallenberg Institute, a workshop dedicated to the development of clinical education was held today with the participation of foreign partners.
David Eile, a representative of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, told us that the cooperation program includes three main component in Armenia: cooperation with the sphere of justice, inter-sectoral and academic cooperation.
"It is within the framework of academic cooperation with YSU, as a result of which we provide consulting services aimed at improving some master's programs, such as legal clinical education."he said.
Legal clinics play an important role as they provide students with the opportunity to gain practical skills and learn about the specifics of the justice system in practice.

According to YSU Legal Clinic Director Knarik Vardanyan, legal clinics are one of the important components of legal education, as they provide practical skills. "They are also used for clients, as they provide access to free and quality legal services."
In a conversation with us, Tatevik Davtyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Civil Law, said that as a result of the workshop, it is expected to establish cooperation between law clinics of different universities. "One of the goals of today's workshop is to show how to expand cooperation."
