YSU ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR HOVIK PANOSYAN AS AN EDITOR OF A SPRINGER BOOK CONSISTING OF 14 CHAPTERS
Well-known to the scientific community, Springer Publishing House has published for the second time the 14-volume book entitled "Bacterial Communities and Their Interactions in Extreme Ecosystems" co-edited by YSU Faculty of Biology, Biochemistry, and Hovik Panosyan and his foreign colleagues.
Hovik Panosyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, said that in the past there was an opportunity to show the growing interest in extremophilic bacteria due to their scientific and practical significance.
According to him, extremophilic bacteria are still in the focus of scientists' attention, therefore the need to cover their features and present the modern achievements of science in a new light is urgent and possible.
"With the aim of satisfying the existing demand, my colleagues and I started the difficult and responsible work of implementing this interesting initiative, and today the newly published book has already been presented to the scientific community," said the YSU associate professor.
