YSU RECTOR MET THE CHAIRMAN OF THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC COMMISSION COUNCIL DELEGATION HEADED BY M. V. MYASNIKOVICH
YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, along with Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA Karen Trchunyan, hosted the delegation headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. For his activity and significant contribution to increasing inter-university bonds, the rector handed a certificate of gratitude to Myasnikovich.
The activities of YSU, the programs aimed at internationalization, as well as the relations with the educational and scientific institutions operating in the territory of the EAEU were presented to the delegation, stating that the university is ready to expand the cooperation framework.
The existing potential of the Russian Studies Center operating at YSU, the programs and means for its development, as well as the perspectives of students and professors exchange programs in EAEU territory, were discussed during the meeting.
The sides also discussed the conditions for implementing inter-university joint educational and research projects, the opportunities provided by the EEC to discuss the issues of Eurasian economic integration, and the further development of the Eurasian Economic Union from a scientific and expert perspective.
After the meeting, the Chair of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission presented a lecture to the university students, introducing them to the activities of the Eurasian Economic Union thoroughly.
