The regular workshop held within the framework of the "MINERVA" (Development of Research Management and Public Science Capacities of Moldovan and Armenian Universities) project has started in Liège, in which representatives of universities involved in the program, including Yerevan State University, participate.
Yerevan State University is represented at the four-day workshop by Elina Asriyan, YSU vice-rector for academic affairs, Alexander Margarov, head of the international cooperation department, Yeranuhi Manukyan, head of the scientific policy department, Artur Apresyan, head of the information systems and network development department.
The workshop began with a meeting of the participants and experts from the University of Liège, during which the steps and current activities within the framework of the project, as well as the problematic issues related to the project, were presented.
The first day of the workshop was concluded with a discussion with researchers from the University of Liège, during which the participants had the opportunity to summarize the current situation of the project in a question-and-answer format and to provide joint solutions to all possible obstacles.
Joint Armenian-Moldovan "MINERVA" program has two main directions: science management and work with open sources.
