YSU FACULTY OF PHYSICS CONTINUES TO EXPAND THE RANGE OF COLLABORATION
Alexander Golubov, professor at the University of Twente, and head of the laboratory of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology conducted a seminar on "Quantum topology phenomenon in the superconducting system" at the Faculty of Physics of YSU.
Within the framework of the seminar, Al. Golubov presented the laboratory of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, as well as the programs planned jointly with the teaching staff of the Faculty of Physics of YSU.
Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Ph.D. Razmik Hovhannisyan, referring to the planned interaction, mentioned, "Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to create joint master's and post-graduate programs, in which students will be given the opportunity to get an education both at YSU and at foreign universities. The presented report was aimed at showing the topics offered for master's programs. YSU has the necessary potential, and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology values the key knowledge imparted by the Faculty of Physics, which contributes to the development of science."
Nune Badalyan, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Physics of YSU, and participant in the seminar valued the opportunity provided by the faculty. In the conversation with us, she said, "The development of science is impossible to imagine without international cooperation. In this context, it is important for me to participate in seminars and lectures held by internationally renowned scientists and researchers, which are constantly organized by the faculty. Being a graduate student, I value the realization of master's and post-graduate joint programs planned within the framework of cooperation, to which I will also be able to apply."
It should be noted that with the cooperation of the YSU Physics Faculty and the Research Institute, such seminars are held weekly, in which both representatives of the faculty and students participate.
