THE SECOND SESSION OF THE CONFERENCE ENTITLED "ARMENIA, THE UNITED STATES AND REGIONAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN EURASIA": "EXTENDING INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE" WAS HELD
On December 3, a round table discussion took place in the YSU Academic Council session entrance hall within the framework of the international conference organized by YSU and Arizona State University and implemented within the framework of the activities of the YSU American Studies Center.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss the features of the US-Eurasia dialogue while presenting the ways and approaches to the development of Armenia-US relations.
Stephen Batalden and Shahin Berisha, professors of the "Melikyan" Center of the Arizona State University, who presented reports at the scientific conference held the previous day, were present at the round table-discussion.
This time, various topics were discussed, starting from the value perception of the "American dream" idea to a comparative analysis of the strategic management features of American universities
Dean of Arizona State University Linguistics Faculty, Professor of Slavic Languages Danko Sipka, Associate Professor of YSU Sociology Faculty, candidate of social sciences Yuliana Melkumyan, Doctor of the Department of Education and Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Robert Khachatryan, Associate Professors of the Armenian-Russian University Ruben Elamiryan and Nora Gevorgyan, researcher of the "Caucasus Institute" Foundation, lecturer of the Master's program "American Studies" Gor Petrosyan, lecturer of the Master's Program "American Studies" of YSU, associate professor Zhak Manukyan took part in the discussion.
Gevorg Melikyan, an expert from the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs, was also present at the international conference, who expressed his opinion on the issues discussed at the conference, asked questions, and highly appreciated the work done.
