LITERATURE, ACTING MASTERY, AND ORATORY ASSEMBLED IN THE CHARLES AZNAVOUR CULTURE CENTER OF YSU

Members of the Suren Kocharyan Poetry Theater Ruzanna Hakhnazaryan, Davit Gasparyan, Boris Arakelyan, and the founder of the theater, Honored Artist of RA Samvel Baghinyan were hosted at YSU to present the poetic gems of Henrik Edoyan.

Famous German poet Y.W. Goethe pointed out the inseparable connection between the theater and the poet in his famous work "Faust". Meetings like this are primarily aimed at strengthening this connection, and to give students the opportunity to see and hear famous actors, to discover them as reciters, and to be acquainted with the best exemplars of modern literature. Such initiatives greatly contribute to the development of non-formal education.

It should be noted that the Poetry Theater after Suren Kocharyan and the Writers' Union of Armenia jointly implement a program entitled "Pearls of Modern Armenian Poetry", within the framework of which the literary matinee was organized.

Poet Henrik Edoyan, President of the Writers’ Union of Armenia Edward Militonyan, writers, professors, students and others attended the event.

Let us add that within the framework of the cooperation between YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center and Poetry Theater after Suren Kocharyan, representatives of partner institutions held cultural meetings and discussions, as well as on the birthday of Ye. Charents, they laid flowers together at the monument of the poet, after which the university staff and students attended the literary composition of the theater entitled "I am now a poet..." based on the works of Yeghishe Charents.
