PUPILS OF “MKHITAR SEBASTATSI” EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX VISITED YSU FACULTY OF RADIOPHYSICS

They met with Vladimir Harutyunyan, Head of the Chair of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics, who told the students about the chair’s activity.

The lecturer of the Chair of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics, the Head of the Educational Laboratory Michael Alexanyan presented the equipment to YSU Center for Physics and Technical Research.

M. Alexanyan mentioned that it has already become a tradition at the Chair of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics to host children from different schools of the republic and present the work of the educational lab. According to him, the purpose of the visit is to help pupils correctly decide on the choice of profession, as well as to tell about the activities of the Faculty of Radiophysics.

“In the last decade the exact fundamental sciences have lost the popularity, so both lecturers and employees still have much to do, for the faculty to become attractive to the applicants. Today, it is very important to prepare a good physicist and radiophysiologist in the world,” - he added.
