24 STUDENTS OF YSU FACULTY OF LAW RECEIVED DIPLOMA WITH HONORS
Today, the solemn ceremony of diploma awarding for the graduates of 2017-2018 Academic year (Master's degree) was held at YSU Faculty of Law court hall. It should be noted that this year 24 out of 51 graduates received diplomas with honors.
Dean of YSU Faculty of Law Gagik Ghazinyan, heads of chairs of the faculty, representatives of the professorial staff, graduates, relatives and friends were present at the event.
The Chairmen of State Examination Committees of YSU Faculty of Law, President of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation Yervand Khundkaryan and Rector of the RA Academy of Justice Sergei Arakelyan also attended the event.
Dean of the Faculty Gagik Ghazinyan wished the graduates professional and personal success: "With your professional work and behavior, you have to keep the reputation of YSU and your faculty. I have not met one graduate of our faculty who would work against Alma Mater in her professional career. Our faculty has tried not only to give good education to our students, but also to educate them as a good citizen," - he said.
The Dean advised the graduates to stay in touch with YSU as they had been studying at YSU for six years: "YSU is a supreme value for me. Whoever has a worthy attitude towards Alma Mater may be considered a good citizen and a good person. Our students should be aware and should always remember that they represent not only the faculty, but also the lecturers and Alma Mater. I think only in this way something can be changed in our society. This generation must really change the atmosphere, it should form the society where we want to live," - he added.
According to him, graduates of this year differed from the previous years' graduates.
Arthur Vagharshyan, Head of the Chair of History and Theory of State and Law of YSU Faculty of Law read a congratulatory message: "You have studied this science for six years, your activities will be further linked to establishing a good and righteous future. I urge everyone to act justly, because the law and justice should win always," - he added.
Yervand Khundkaryan and RA Justice Academy Rector Sergey Arakelyan also congratulated the graduates as well as wished them professional success.
Representatives of the faculty also sent their congratulations to the graduates.
