PILGRIMAGE IN MEMORY OF STUDENTS FREEDOMS FIGHTERS OF YSU
Today, the pilgrimage of YSU Military-Patriotic Education Club “Vardanank” to Artsakh kicked off. The pilgrimage in memory of the deceased soldiers from YSU will continue in Artsakh till August 9.
In a conversation with us Satenik Abrahamyan, President of Military-Patriotic Education Club “Vardanank”, mentioned that the pilgrimage was organized within the framework of the United Armenia Program, dedicated to the “100th Anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia and the Victory of the Velvet Revolution”.
About 55 members of the club, students, parents and relatives of the deceased freedom fighters are participating in the pilgrimage.
The scientific-practical conference titled “Armenian Identity Issues and National Culture” will be organized in the Artsakh Branch of the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran in the area adjacent to Gandzasar Monastery.
During the one-week pilgrimage, there will be cognitive visits to the Museum of Freedom Fighters and Stepanakert Pantheon, as well as historical and cultural monuments of Artsakh.
