“DIALECTS STAY WITH US SINCE OUR CHILDHOOD”: DIALECT STUDIES IN GYUMRI
On October 28 the students of the Faculty of Armenian Philology of YSU visited Gyumri togheter with the faculty reprsentatives to have some studies of the dialect.
Students usually get theoretical knowledge and they need to get more practical knowledge, so the chairman of SSS of YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology Samvel Yeghiazaryan initiated the program “Dialectic research and comperative dialectology”.
20 students of the faculty were chosen for the program.
The first center of the studies was Shirak marz.
