CHARITY GAMES TOURNAMENT WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF DISABLED SPORTSMEN
The regular tournament of charity games organized by YSU SC Combat Training Club after Leonid Azgaldyan has been started. Today the sportsmen of the RA National Paralympic Committee are competing in basketball tournament.
The president of Leonid Azgaldyan club Liparit Ghazaryan informed that the club which had been functioning in the university for 3 years, had organized a number of programs aimed at the development of martial skills among students. They got theoretical and practical trainings in martial strategy, checked their skills at shooting trainings.
Charity programs outstand in all these actions. Last year, as a result of such charity games the martial position of one of the military units of Artsakh Army of Defense got a solar panel.
The next charity game is to be held on November 26, at 16:30 at the football gym of YSU. The price of the charity game ticket is AMD 500.
The whole income from charity games will be allotted in three directions: a part of the amount will be donated to Homeland Defender rehabilitation center, another part will be donated to purchase necessary items for the frontier line and then sent to the military position of one of the units of the RA MD and Artsakh Army of Defense.
According to Liparit Ghazaryan, such actions contribute to strengthening the ties between the army, university and society.
