“TURKEY-GEORGIA-AZERBAIJAN THREE-PARTY COOPERATION”: HISTORY OF ENERGETIC POLICY
Today, the SSS of YSU Faculty of International Relations organized a course of trainings during which were presented the features of internal political and external policy of the countries of South Caucasian region.
The theme of the first training was “Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan three-party cooperation”.
The lecture was delivered by the lecturer of the Faculty of International Relations of YSU Erik Davtyan.
At the beginning of the lecture explained that the theme is important from the point of view of so-called “hard safety” as three our neighbouring countries cooperate with one another. Besides, it makes it possible for students to learn what programs are worked out by the USA and Russia in South Caucasus.
“The three-party cooperation is based on the energy resources in Azerbaijan. Due to this cooperation was built the oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan which was provided for oil supply to Europe”.
“It is important to mention that energetic organizations play a significant role in the oil diplomacy and they can influence the perspective of diplomatic development between the countries”, said the speaker.
