SERIES OF LECTURES AT THE FACULTY OF RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY
On December 10-14, a series of lectures are to be delivered at the Faculty of Russian Philology by the Professor of the Chair of Russian Language of the Institute of Linguistics of Russian State University, Doctor of Philology Yelena Butorina.
The event was organized by the Centre of Russian Science and Culture in Yerevan and the Faculty of Russian Philology of YSU.
The dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology Pavel Balayan greeted those present and informed that the participants of the lectures will get corresponding certificates.
Then the Dean presented Professor Butorina and the theme of her lecture. The representative of the Centre of Russian Science and Culture in Yerevan Olga Raisovna who was also present at the event attached importance to such meetings.
Professor Butorina informed that the aim of the lecture entitled “Modern business and official correspondence in Russian” is to teach the official-business style of texts, main mistakes made in them and the sources of reference.
