YSU RESEARCHERS TO PROTEST AT THE RA GOVERNMENT BULDING
Today a number of researchers of YSU received notifications informing them that their job contracts are to be terminated on March 31, 2019 because of liquidation of their structural subdivision, changing of the terms of work organization and employees redundancy based on production necessity.
As it is known, based on the RA Government decision N1515-N “On providing the performance of the RA state budget of 2019”, made on December 27, 2018, the former form of basic financing of the scientific and scientific-technical is changed in higher education institutions functioning as foundations.
The decision on making the basic financing in foundation competitive will have negative impact on science. This problem was discussed and the YSU employees expressed their position and decided to apply with protests to corresponding bodies.
