SCIENTIFIC THEME: FORMATION OF UNIFIED DOMAIN OF HIGHER EDUCATION IS A NECESSITY AS THE 21ST CENTURY IS NOT THE PERIOD OF COMPETITION BUT OF COLLABORATION: NAZIK HARUTYUNYAN
The scientific theme “Comparative analysis of the systems of higher education of EEA member countries-Armenia, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan” presented by the Professor YSU Chair of Pedagogy N. Harutyunyan won in the sphere of pedagogy in the competition of the scientific and scientific-technical activity contractual (thematic) financing programs of the RA MES Science Committee.
The leader of the scientific theme, the head of the Chair of Pedagogy of YSU, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Nazik Harutyunyan referred to the actuality of the scientific theme and the expected programs.
Professor Harutyunyan noted that they are going to study the legislative field of the countries, their governance system, their peculiarities, financing, content segments-educational programs, systems of assessment and qualification.
The studies provide for round tables, seminar-discussions and business trips, visits to 6 top universities of each country and meeting0discussions with the leading specialists of the sphere.
8 scientific articles, as well as a collective monography will be published at the end of the theme study.
The scientific group formed for this program implementation consists of 4 people. Besides the leader of the theme the team involves the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs of SYU, Associate Professor Alexander Grigoryan, the Associate professor of the Chair of Pedagogy Anna Alexanyan and the applicant of the Chair Ani Abrahamyan.
According to Nazik Harutyunyan, it is necessary to create a unified domain of higher education of the EEA countries.
