THE NUMBER OF E-LECTURES TO INCREASE AT THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF YSU
With the aim of installation of “Moodle” system of e-teaching, in January 35 lecturers of the Faculty of international Relations of YSU participated in refreshment courses.
“Moodle” is a modern method of teaching and learning aimed at on-line teamwork of lecturers and students. With the help of this system students can get full information on the course, the deadlines set for doing the assignments, the sources necessary for learning the given theme.
In his interview to us the Dean of the Faculty Gegham Petrosyan claimed that one of the priorities of the faculty is applying of online teaching technologies in educational process.
The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, the coordinator of “Moodle” program Jacques Manukyan said that during the installation of “Moodle” during the previous term was effective and got positive attitudes.
The refreshment courses were organized by the division of Tutors’ Qualification division of YSU Postgraduate Additional Education Department which were held in YSU IT Education and Research Centre. The refreshment course was delivered by the leader of the laboratory of new educational technologies Arthur Avagyan.
Mr. Avagyan informed us that this platform is a progressive and important step as nowadays it’s important to move forward without new educational technologies.
The head of the Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy Vahram Petrosyan informed that examinations become more objective and students on the spot can know the results.
The lecturer of Turkish of the Chair of Service and Professional Communication of the Faculty of International Relations Arax Manucharyan assured that “Moodle” significantly increases the effectiveness of studies.
