8 STUDENTS OF YSU WIN IN THE “BEST STUDENT OF THE REPUBLIC” CONTEST
The results of the “Best student of the Republic 2018” contest and awarding of scholarships was held today at Armenian State University of Economics.
This competition for individual scholarships is annually held by the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
This year 37 students of 7 different majors of 15 higher education institutions of the RA won in “Best student” nomination. 8 of them are from YSU.
The best students were awarded with certificates and one-time individual scholarships from the RA Minister of Education and Science: 1st prize-AMD 430 000, the 2nd prize-AMD 315 thousand and the 3rd prize-AMD 200 000.
The RA Minister of Education and Science Araik Harutyunyan, Vice-Minister Grisha Tamrazyan, YSU Vice-Rector for Students, Alumni and Public Relations Ruben Markosyan, rectors, vice-rectors and students of different universities were present at the event.
