ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION RELATED TO STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES WITH THE EXPERTS OF THE SPHERE

The event was held by the Association of Social Workers of Armenia. The president of the Association Mira Antonyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Sociology Arthur Mkrtchyan, the representative of the “World Vision Armenia” Aida Muradyan, as well as the representatives of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, the RA Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, of the National Institute of Labour and Social Research, the UNO Children’s Foundation, the public charity foundations “Children’s development”, “Children of Armenia”, “Mission Armenia” as well as lecturers of the Faculty of Sociology were present at the event.

The main topic of the discussion was the organization of education of social workers in the RA higher education establishments, harmonization of education and practice.

It should be noted that the meetings, round-table discussions, exchange of opinions will be continuative.
