ANCIENT EGYPTIANS’ SHIP WRECK DESCRIBED BY HERODOTUS DISCOVERED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE NILE
The old Egyptian merchant ship the existence of which was questionable for many centuries, was discovered in Abu Qir Bay of the Nile delta.
The ship was first mentioned in Herodotus’s “History” who visited Egypt in the 5th century BC.
