OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE ENGLISH FOR LAWYERS: A NEW PROGRAM TO BE WORKED OUT AT FACULTY OF LAW
“Law English” course was worked out jointly with the network of international legal protection “Human Rights of House Yerevan” to provide Legal English studies for students of YSU Faculty of Law.
The aim of the course is to improve the reading, listening and speaking abilities of students, to enrich their legal English vocabulary via interactive studies of American, European and Armenian legal and educational sources related to state and law.
The duration fo the program is two months. The course will be conducted by the volunteer of Birthright Armenia program Kety Sherdan. According to the mentors of the program, communications with the natives and innovative and interactive method of teaching will make the language studies as easy and interesting as possible.
He Dean of the Faculty of Law Gagik Ghazinyan informed us that the program was worked out within the frame of internationalization process provided by the program of the faculty development.
The Dean also informed that the lecturer of the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law Varser Karapetyan showed significant assistance to the program implementation.
