POSSIBILITY TO USE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE IN PRACTICE: MOOT COURT AT YSU FACULTY OF LAW
The 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law took part in moot court trainings.
The aim of the moot court organized on the initiative of the Chair of Criminal Processing and Criminalistics and with the support of the SSS of the Faculty is to give the students the possibility to use their knowledge in practice and to familiarize them with the liabilities of the subjects of the criminal trial.
The head of the Chair of Criminal Processing and Criminalistics Samvel Dilbandyan informed that arrangement of court sessions are an undividable part of educational process. During the discussion of the results particular attention is paid to the analysis of the legislation, try to understand how justified each part presents its position and if the rules of the trial were properly kept.
The Assistant to the Chair of Criminal Processing and Criminalistics Tatevik Sujyan informed that the materials for moot courts are mainly taken from real judicial practice.
