COOPERATION OF YSU WITH SARATOV STATE UNIVERSITY IS GOING ON

The head of YSU Department of International Cooperation Alexander Markarov was present at the meeting.

Yerevan State University has contracts and agreements with nearly 200 universities, institutions and international organizations of 50 countries.

Students and tutors exchange programs are organized, joint scientific and educational programs, seminars, working meetings, conferences and exhibitions, literature exchange are organized due to this cooperation.

During the meeting the parties touched upon the activity of the universities, spoke about the problems in the sphere of education.

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan introduced the history, activity and achievements of YSU Faculties of Precise Sciences and Science and Mathematics, pointed out to the problems existing in the university.

The Rector of Saratov State University Alexey Chumachenko attached importance to the programs of students and teachers exchange and stressed the priority of developing the cooperation.

It should be noted that within the scope of the contract signed between Yerevan State University and Saratov State University after Chernishevski, 9 students study at YSU.
