COOPERATION BETWEEN YSU AND AGBU TO BE CONTINUED

The Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor Ruben Melkonyan presenting the joint projects being carried out, noted that they are aimed at the development of different directions of Oriental Studies and are at the focus of attention of state bodies.

Professor Melkonyan expressed gratitude to the AGBU for supporting the cooperation projects between educational establishments and Ministry of Defense, and added that YSU is ready to provide teaching services to various state structures so as to assist in the realization of the goals and solving the problems.

The Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan thanked the two parties for willingness.

The President of ABGU Armenia, the member of the Central Department of AGBU Vazgen Yakubian noted that the project is very important for them. Their priority has always been to strengthen the Republic of Armenia through different means, one of which is education.

The Vice-Rector on Academic Affairs Menua Soghomonyan stressed the readiness of YSU to provide professional assistance noting that in this case the tie between education and job market is clearly expressed. He also outlined that the process of monitoring educational programs will be started soon, and the interested parties will be involved.

Within the frames of YSU and RA MD cooperation, due to AGBU support, various projects have been implemented in health care and education fields.
