The averse of the coin depicts part of the memorial column dedicated to Armenian scientists which is placed in the foyer of YSU and has the inscription “Scientia Potentia Est” and on the reverse there is a segment of “Sahak Partev and Mesrop Mashtots” sculpture.
The building of YSU and its coats of arms is seen on the background of the coin.
The nominative value of the coin is AMD 100, it is made of silver of 925 purity, weight-33.6 gr, diameter-40 mm.
The authors of the sketch of “100th anniversary of YSU” memorial coin is Harutyun Samuelyan (averse) and Vardan Vardanyan (reverse). It was cut in the Monetary court of Lithuania.
