COOPERATION BETWEEN YSU AND ACADEMY OF PUBLIC SCIENCES OF CHINA IS STRENGTHENED

The lectures were organized on the initiative of the Department of International Cooperation within the frames of the cooperation established between YSU and the Academy of Public Sciences of China.

Before the beginning of the lectures, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor Ruben Melkonyan stated that the studies of the history and policy of China are conducted in the centre, scientific discussions and meetings are held.

The lectures were entitled “Anti-corruption Mechanism of China”, “The History of China’s Development on the way to modernization”, “Interior Policy and Initiatives of China: One Belt, One Road” and “The Issues of one Belt, One Road Initiative”. During the lectures the students of the Faculties of Law, International Relations, Oriental Studies had the opportunity to get answers to their questions related to the sphere.

It should be noted that “One Belt, One Road” initiative is the high level project for open and economic diplomacy suggested by the Chinese party, the Chinese model aimed at cooperation development and general prosperity in the new period.

This model of cooperation proposed by the Chinese Government is aimed at promoting peace and cooperation, transparency and tolerance, mutual studies and benefits within the frames of “Silk Road” initiative. Armenia is an active partner of this initiative.
