THE LABORATORY OF THE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE OF APPLIED BIOLOGY OF YSU HAS BEEN ENRICHED WITH NEW MODERN EQUIPMENT

This was reported by the researcher of the Centre of Excellence of Applied Biology Suzanna Yesoyan.

According to her, the new equipment will make it possible to conduct research into biotechnology and food safety. The 1st and 2nd year students of Master program of YSU Faculty of Biology can make their research necessary for their theses here.

Suzanna Yesoyan also informed that the “Erasmus+ KA2” ABIONET program starts in the academic year of 2019/2020 and the 1st and 2nd year students of Master program of the Faculty of Biology can apply to it.
The program aims at the creation and strengthening of ties between science, education and entrepreneurship.

Within the scope of the program, On May6-11 a training was organized at the University of Teramo (Italy) for the specialists of a number of Armenian HEIs-Yerevan State University, Armenian National Agrarian University, Shirak State University, Gavar State University, as well as for specialists of the RA Ministry of Education and Science to get new skills.

Suzanna Yesoyan, who participated in the training, informed that the training was conducted by the specialists of the program coordinator-Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece), the European partners of the program- Technological University of Dresden (Germany), Teramo University (Italy) and Catholic University of Portugal.
