THREE STUDENTS OF YSU FACULTY OF JOURNALISM PARTICIPATE IN “BATTLE OF JOURNALISTS” TV PROJECT
Three students of the Faculty of Journalism of YSU-Anna Kostanyan, Elen Aghajanyan (4th year) and Rima Grigoryan (2nd year) took part in the “Battle of Journalists” TV project organized within the frames of “Access to Information and Investigative Journalism for More Informed Citizens” co-financed by the European Union.
The students reached the final stge.
36 students from 6 higher educational institutions of Armenia took part in this joint initiative of Information Freedom Centre NGO and European Journalism Centre in Maastrict. Future lawyers and journalists referred in their video materials to the corruption risks in various spheres, made investigative reportages on various themes, presented their individual themes.
The 2nd year student of the Faculty of Journalism Rima Grigoryan got the 2nd place.
The prizes were handed to the winners by the EU Delegation to Armenia International Aid/Cooperation Officer Line Urban, the chairman of the IFC NGO, the project manager of “Informed Armenia” Shushan Doydoyan, the author of “Battle of Journalists” TV project Karen Andreasyan, the representative of the European Journalism Centre Josh Laporte.
