“SOLID STATE NANOPHYSICS AND NANOMATERIALS”: NEW MASTER PROGRAM AT FACULTY OF PHYSICS
From the beginning of the academic year of 2019-2020 the Master program “Solid State Nanophysics and Nanomaterials” will be functioning at the Chair of Solid State Physics of the Faculty of Physics of YSU.
The head of the Chair of Solid State Physics Arshak Vardanyan informed us that the main goal of the Master program entitled “Solid State Nanophysics and Nanomaterials” is to prepare high-quality specialists of the sphere who will not only implement scientific research into the field, organize high technology production but also will initiate and commercialize innovative business enterprises.
The teaching will be provided in Armenian, later it is planned to deliver studies in English.
According to the head of the Chair, the economy and military industry of our country require solid state nano-objects to be integrated in different systems.
