MEMORANUM ON COOPERATION BETWEEN YSU AND “NORK” INFECTION CLINICAL HOSPITAL
YSU acting Rector Gegham Gevorgyan hosted in his office the director of “Nork” infection clinical hospital Mher Davidyants and the coordinator for Developments and Investments of the same hospital Lyudmila Niazyan. The directions and frames of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
The director of the Microbial Biotechnology and Biofuel Innovation Centre Karen Trchounyan was present at the event too.
The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation expansion in the sphere of education.
At the end of the meeting they signed a Memorandum on Cooperation according to which the cooperation will be implemented within the framework of “Biology” and “ Infectious diseases” scientific subjects. The parties are interested in the following fields: microbiology and biotechnology, biochemistry and molecular biology, human and animal’s physiology.
Gegham Gevorgyan attached importance to the signed memorandum and expressed hope that it will promote joint research and scientific activity and development.
Karen Trchounyan noted that it is planned to carry out joint scientific projects, exchange of publications and scientific information, publication of research results, organization of symposiums, conferences and seminars and so on.
The director of “Nork” infection clinical hospital Mher Davidyants attaching importance to the memorandum noted that nowadays it is impossible to imagine clinical segment without scientific one. He stressed that the memorandum would promote implementation of joint scientific work, particularly in the sphere of biomedicine. It can also become a ground for working out health strategy programs. Besides, students will get the possibility to carry out their studies in “Nork” infection clinical hospital, and the employees of the hospital will be able to conduct scientific studies at YSU.
