EMINENT FIGURES IN YSU: HOVHANNES BAGHRAMYAN

In 1968, the distinguished commander of the Soviet Union, the USSR Deputy Minister of Defense Hovhannes Baghramyan was hosted in YSU and had a meeting with the administration and the students of the university.

The Rector of YSU in 1966-1977 Mkrtich Nersisyan, the Academic Secretary of YSU Simon Hakhumyan, the First Secretary of YSU Communist Party, historian Paylak Yengoyan, philosopher Mehendak Melikyan and others were present at the meeting.
