“LET’S SPEAK ARABIC”: A NEW TEXTBOOK IS PRESENTED AT YSU
The presentation of the new textbook “Let’s speak Arabic” was held today at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of YSU.
The book was created due to the collaboration of “Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain” Cultural Foundation and the Associate Professors of the Chair of Arabic Studies Alis Eloyan and Sona Tonikyan.
The lecturer of the Chair of Arabic Studies Sedrak Hrayr Michael Hovsepean presented the manual.
The authors of the manual Alis Eloyan and Sona Tonikyan spoke about the book too.
This textbook on literary Arabic was created for not-professional departments and language centres. It is for the beginners-A2 level.
According to the authors, it consists of 15 lessons which correspond to the main themes, situations the learners deal with.
The author of the cover of the book is the Associate Professor of the Chair Ruben Mirakyan.
The sections of the book-a new vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening and others-are given in different colours which makes learning more effective.
In the future it is planned to issue textbooks for other levels.
